JK Rowling says LGBT people are hypocritical and love to attack others
At a recent LGBT awards ceremony in the UK, actor David Tennant, who starred in "Doctor Who" and "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," made an aggressive statement to anti-LGBT people.
David Tennant told UK equalities Minister Kemi Badenoch: "She is in favour of banning transgender people from women's toilets and from participating in women's national sports teams. They are a bunch of whining assholes who are on the wrong side of history and will soon be gone. We need to wake up. I don't want Kemi Badnock to get hurt, I just want her to shut up."
JK Rowling later responded to David Tennant's comments. She said: "Such people can be called gender Taliban. They were also given special permission because they were a sacred caste. The man is said to have positioned himself as a model of compassion and tolerance, but at the same time wished that dissenters would cease to exist."
David Tennant has become the fifth Harry Potter actor to clash with JK Rowling over transgender issues: Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Green and Eddie Redmayne have all spoken out against her. However, there are many actors who have supported JK Rowling on this issue, such as Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, Helena Bonham Carter, Evanna Lynch, Tom Felton and others.
