    Combat is a team RTS(Real-Time strategy) approach where you have to manually select enemies and control some active skills and consumables. After selecting an enemy, your team can attack them. In the actual play process, I found that there are many flaws in the combat system, first of all, the combat operation is too repetitive, you need to click on each enemy, because the character does not automatically counter the enemy, you can only click on the enemy one by one (later if there is a weapon of mass destruction, this problem may not bother the player too much).

    In addition, it should be mentioned that since the author did not play difficult difficulty, the battle process in the late stage is slightly monotonous, played after, but take medicine, strategy is not obvious, so if you want to experience the operation and strategy of the battle, it is recommended that players choose difficult difficulty to experience the game, because in this difficulty, if the player's villain dies, it will disappear forever. This will undoubtedly require some strategic and operational effort on your part.

    And the game is very human point is that if you feel that the difficulty is too high, you can change the difficulty back to normal in the game, there is no need to start a new save.

    I still remember that "Pixel Pirates" is attractive because its core gameplay is the design of the ship, the strategy of artillery and docking battles, how to make the ship strong and resistant, which need players to invest in the game.

    Whether it is the design of the ship or similar layout facilities, managing the crew of these semi-operational gameplay, it is easy to get addicted to.

    However, my personal feeling is that this game lacks such a unique and interesting core gameplay, you can not design your ship in detail (only determine the types of rooms in the ship), there is no leisure time to interact with the crew, only the current common copy and equipment drop gameplay.

    There are no major drawbacks to the game, if any, it is the lack of automatic attack features in the combat operations.
