The unique "Super Mario 3D World+Fury World"

Last year was Uncle Mario's 35th birthday, and as one of the top ten IPs in the world with the highest pure gaming revenue, Nintendo naturally held a separate 35th anniversary event.

Of course, due to Nintendo's relatively lackluster performance in 2020, there were not many new news to be discussed directly at the conference. Apart from the highly discussed "Super Mario 3D Collection", which was clearly called "Collection Collection" but did not include "Super Mario Galaxy 2", the eye-catching "Super Mario 35", as well as the 2013 release of "Super Mario 3D World" (hereinafter referred to as "3D World"), which will be logged into the Switch in the form of "Porting+New Content".

Even though the claim that "3D World" will be ported to Switch has a long history, the basis is diverse, covering various perspectives from theoretical analysis to mystical feng shui. But when the real dust settles, it is still exciting enough, after all, the legacy of WiiU's first party can be said to be the little apple of Switch players, and no matter how much it is ported, it won't be too much.

Not to mention that the transplant version will also join the large-scale level of "World of Fury", and this Fried Rice with new ingredients from Boga is naturally more expectant.

The presentation of 2D horizontal plate Mario in 3D form

3D World is not as famous in China, and many players only know about its existence because of the "3D World" version of Mario Creator 2. There's no way, WiiU's sales of less than 20 million have dragged down the popularity of many good games.

If you are a new player who is not familiar with 3D World and wants to get started with it, I suggest having a clear understanding of the positioning of 3D World in advance, because I have players who have fallen into the NS trap of this generation around me - I particularly liked it after completing the game for a week in Super Mario Odyssey, and may have mistakenly thought that 3D World was a "3D horse" similar to Super Mario Odyssey when I saw the title "3D". After playing two worlds, I felt quite disappointed.

Although the name of "3D World" carries the word "3D", the design concept is actually closer to the presentation of 2D horizontal Mario in 3D form. Whether it is the drop state in levels, flag crossing, time limit for each level, or the large-scale map selection starting from "Super Mario Brothers 3", most of the elements are actually taken from the traditional horizontal Mario.

The player's right joystick can often only be adjusted at a very small angle, and the camera will mostly pan as the player's position changes.

In terms of difficulty, although 3D World is slightly lower than traditional 2D horses, overall it is still at a level of "easy to learn and difficult to master", which is not related to "easy". Perhaps collecting all the Pres levels in the first world is enough to make many players complain incessantly. The difficulty of later levels gradually increases, and after unlocking hidden levels, the true face of any hell is revealed. Even the frequently played 10 second small level, when it appears in the form of Boss Rush for 20-30 consecutive times, is still very nerve wracking.

And the final "path of happiness" is the norm, after all, it takes several hours to get through.

So if we really want to collect all 380 green stars, we can only wish you a prosperous military career.

PS: Collecting all stickers requires each character to touch the stick once, which is really insane... Of course, in Breath of the Wild, Nintendo has already told players that collecting all stickers is the golden cake (x

Extremely joyful multiplayer mode, rounded to the nearest Mario Party

3D World is considered the most suitable Mario game for multiplayer gameplay in my personal mind (excluding spin offs) - the more people there are, the happier it is.

Because in terms of personal experience, the multiplayer mode of Hengban Mario has long had a problem with high entry barriers. What many veteran players cannot imagine is that a "sprint+jump" operation that has already been integrated into everyone's DNA may require repeated practice for a new player to learn, and this process can bring a great sense of frustration.

Therefore, although many video creators can achieve good multiplayer effects in the multiplayer mode of "New Super Mario Brothers U", I stubbornly tried several times at family gatherings, but ultimately ended up in an unsuccessful way and had to switch to "Mario Racing 8 Luxury Edition" or "Super Mario Party" halfway through.

While 3D World has increased operational dimensions, the difficulty has also become more user-friendly due to the increase in space and the decrease in enemy density. Especially, "Cat Leo" has greatly reduced the difficulty of the game. After all, it is well known that "Cat Rio" is strong in confrontation, and the cat Mario can be considered an imba in both attack and movement. Moreover, excellent mutual pitfalls will bring more joy.

The performance differences between characters, especially the different tactile sensations of Luigi and Princess, will provide new ideas in some areas, making the game full of communication and laughter.

Although the entry-level difficulty is still higher than zero threshold games like Super Mario Party, it is enough to make it the most suitable multiplayer game among Mario's classic games.
